01.24.2007 - 00:37hJanuary 24th, 2007Good grief! Has it really been nine months since I last posted? I apologize folks. Fortunately a faithful reader emailed in asking me about our building project. And wouldn't you know, God's timing is once again incredible because the email came in literally two days before the open house night for our new gymnasium! That's right, the project is officially complete and we christen it this Thursday night.
There's still much to be done however. This is just the first step in a major renovation to the whole church. Part of the gymnasium addition included several new class rooms for the various Sunday schools and youth groups we have at the church. Now that those are in use, we can knock down the class rooms that are behind the sanctuary so we can make the sanctuary even larger so we can seat more people during our services. Our church is growing by leaps and bounds and we're pushing our capacity limit during both services every Sunday. What a wonderful problem to have, Amen?
So, just because the gymnasium is done, in no way means that I'm going to stop raising money for this project. I'm going to continue to donate portions of each pixel ad sale to the building project. So if you have something you'd like to advertise and you feel led to, pick up a nice spot on the board and be blessed for your generosity.
Keep checking in. I'm going to post some pictures of the finished gym as soon as I can. Thanks again everyone.
God Bless,
Ryan
04.09.2006 - 23:26hApril 9th, 2006Happy Palm Sunday! This is it isn't it? The week that means the most to us as Christians... We had such an incredible service at church this morning. I watched the Lord hand pick a soul from those attending our service and she was saved right before my eyes. It was beautiful. Such great things are happening at our church, including the progress of our new addition. I have some new pictures for you all to enjoy but before I post those, let me first say, God bless and have a wonderful Easter!

03.07.2006 - 12:44hMarch 7th, 2006Wow it's been a long time since I last posted. I just wanted to get on here and make sure you guys know I'm still active. Not a whole lot of news to report but here are a few tidbits:
I have a backlog of pictures from the new building project at the church that I'll be posting here in the blog as soon as I get a chance.
Our traffic has remained steady even after the drop off of incoming traffic from the million dollar home page ad we posted in December.
Our church as asked me to completely revamp the church's website (I'm also the webmaster there as well) so I need to take care of that before launching the new project I have planned for here. So unfortunately that'll delay it quite a bit but my church needs me and that must take priority over my own projects. That's not to say that I'm not going to be doing anything over here. I'm still continuing to push the site and making sure the traffic remains up and that we continue to get more links to us.
We'd like to take a moment to welcome and thank www.cmdhp.com our latest paid advertiser. They just put up a shiny new 2000 pixel ad in the middle of our paid section so please take a moment to give them a visit and help bless their ministry. God bless you guys!
That's about all the news fit to print for this edition, until next time!

02.22.2006 - 01:10hFebruary 22nd, 2006 - Google Loves Us!Well it's official. Google loves us! Check it out, this blog page you're reading now has a Google page ranking (PR) of 3 but even better, if you check out the home page with the pixel ads on it, we have a Google PR of 5! For those of you who aren't aware, page rankings are what Google uses to determine the "importance" of web pages on a scale of 1-10 based on several factors: how many incoming links a site has, where it ranks in searches, what the PR of the sites linking to you is etc. To give you an idea of how big this is, the original pixel ad site, the million dollar home page, has a Google PR of 7. I don't know of any other pixel ad sites with a PR of 5 at the moment. So rejoice Christian Pixel Ads advertisers! Your links are on a Google PR 5 site!
On a less happy note, we had quite a bit of down time over the last 24 hours while we moved to a new server. We didn't change our hosting company, we just moved to a new hosting package to accommodate the increased traffic. I apologize for the down time but we should be stable from here on out. No data was lost in the transfer.
Now that the site move is complete, I will once again return to the big mysterious project I've been working on for the site. More updates to come. Until then, I must go to bed. I got a grand total of about 12 hours of sleep over the last 3 days due to all the work preparing the site move.
God Bless!

02.15.2006 - 10:10hFebruary 15th, 2006I know what you're thinking and the answer is no, the new site design is not the big "hush hush" project I've been working on for the site. But I did want to get the site redesigned before launching the new project. I hope you all like the new look. I think it makes it a lot more inviting and pleasing to the eye. I also think the pixel ads stand out a lot better against the white background. Most importantly, now we have our own distinguished look and don't like exactly like every other pixel site using the pixel script. I'm still working on the new project, thanks for your patience.
Once again, congratulations are in order. We have another new biggest advertiser! Please take a moment to visit Gods IRC. They've got a great site and an easy access chat room; another great online ministry.
I took some more pictures of the church yesterday. They've got the connector up. It's the hallway/lobby area that connects the church to the gymnasium. I'll see if I can get those posted tonight or tomorrow.
That's all for now; oh, we're still #1 on Google if you search for "pixel ads" and that's out of 9,860,000 search results! It's bringing us some tremendous traffic, so all you who've chosen to advertise here, made the right choice. If you're reading this and haven't bought some ad space yet, what are you waiting for? The 5¢ sale won't last forever!
God bless,
-Ryan
02.09.2006 - 12:57hFebruary 9th, 2006Congratulations to our new biggest advertiser Million Dollar Christian Homepages! Please take the time to visit their site and make sure they get off to a great start! To the site owners, we thank you for your contribution and pray the Lord will use your site as a great ministry for years to come!
How about some fun facts? Check out where we rank on Google for the following search terms:
Google Rank Search Term
1 pixel ads
1 christian pixels
1 christian pixel
1 christian pixel ads
1 christian pixel ad
1 family friendly pixels
1 family friendly pixel
1 family pixel ads
1 family pixel ad
3 family pixels
3 family pixel
I couldn’t believe we’re ranked #1 for pixel ads. That’s incredible considering the thousands of pixel ad sites out there.
Also check out our Alexa rankings here. Our traffic rank is 250,125 which is decent but our 1 week average is 109,137. We'll be cracking the top 100,000 soon!
Development on our new feature is moving along but rather slowly. It's been another crazy week. I'm hoping to get a bunch of work done on it tonight. Keep checking back for updates!

02.06.2006 - 10:47hFebruary 6th, 2006 - Fired Up!My wife and I went to Congress down in Boston this weekend. It was presented by Vision New England and the theme was "Love Out Loud". Wow! I'm fired up for the Lord after that. We saw several great speakers, tons of booths displaying new Christian companies (made me wish we had a booth for ChristianPixelAds!) and a great concert with the band Salvador. Barry Black was one of the speakers (the chaplain of the United States Senate) and he was awesome. I got goose bumps listening to him speak. He taught us all that we need to 1. Speak up! 2. Pray up! 3. Stay up! and 4. Cheer up! I wish I could do his message justice but you just had to be there.
I have a new project in the works for ChristianPixelAds.com that has me pumped. I wish I could tell you what it is but I haven't seen any other pixel site doing it so I don't want to say what it is yet just in case any competitors out there are reading this. I'm hoping it'll be the spark that takes us to the next level. I'll be working on it this week so stay tuned for an update. We are planning to make the announcement through a news letter too, so if you already have pixels here, be looking out for that.
Until then, may God bless you all!
-Ryan
01.24.2006 - 00:23hJanuary 24th, 2006Let's get right to the good stuff. Even though traffic from the MillionDollarHomePage is dropping off (now that all the pixels are sold out) we're still continuing to increase our visitors every day thanks to all the new Christian website directories we joined as well as our advertising campaigns. Check out the links at the bottom of the page if you have a minute. You'll find that we rank in the top 10 sites on most of them, and top 50 to 100 range in the larger more popular directories. That's pretty incredible since we just added ourselves to them a week ago. Our weekly ranking with Alexa is right around 150,000 which also continues to increase.
As you can see our free pixel area is filling up. Once it's full, it's done; we won't be adding any more free pixels. That will also mark the end of our 5¢ pixel sale as well. Once the free section is full, pixels go back to regular price so if you're on the fence about advertising with us, you may want to decide quickly.
Finally we'll close this post with some updated pictures of the building expansion project at the church. Remember, a portion of each pixel ad sold goes toward this building.

Until next time,
-Ryan
01.16.2006 - 23:22hJanuary 16th, 2006In just the first half of January, we've all ready more than doubled the total number of visitors we had to the site in the entire month of December! Most of that is due to our ad on the MillionDollarHomePage of course, but our other advertising campaigns are steadily gaining steam as well.
You may have noticed several new links posted at the bottom of the site. These are all Christian website directories I just signed up for today. Link exchanges, they post a link to us, we post a link to them, but I wasn't about to give them prime pixel realestate, I'm saving that for you guys.
There's 17 listed on the bottom of the site but I signed up for at least a dozen more that didn't require links back to their site. I know some of them will drive decent targeted traffic our way and the others will at least count toward our Google ranking as another site on the web linking to us. If anyone reading this knows of any other directories I may have missed, I'd love to hear from you. Use the feedback form.
God Bless,
-Ryan
01.14.2006 - 18:08hJanuary 14th, 2006Congratulations to Adam Woeger of www.Prays.com who just became the new biggest advertiser on Christian Pixel Ads! We contacted Mr. Woeger to see if he's been satisfied with the results he's received from us since posting his first ad on January 9th and he had this to say:
"I am happy to advertise my ministry site with your ChristianPixelAds.com site. I decided this week to list on many "pixel" ads sites, but I believe yours so far has brought my site much more targeted traffic with visitors looking for ministry resources. Because I am so happy with both the amount and quality of the traffic that your ChristianPixelAds.com site has sent my way, I would like to expand my existing large "near the center" ad from 20x20 to a 30x30 pixel ad." Adam Woeger, Internet Evangelist/Steward of www.Prays.com
Thank you Mr. Woeger for your support of our project.
Update on the building project: The main steel structure for the new gymnasium is going up this week! I'll take some more pictures once it's up and make sure to get them posted for you all to see.
In His Grip,
-Ryan
01.11.2006 - 20:33hJanuary 11th, 2006We just got home from the body meeting at the church and the bottom line is that we're short by $500,000. The building expansion is costing much more than originally planned due to increased fuel costs and a new sprinkler system that needed to be installed to meet with fire codes.
No one seemed discouraged because we're sure this addition is God's plan for our church, I just pray that He uses this site to help reach our goal.
Traffic is really pouring into the site now with all the publicity the MillionDollarHomePage is getting. If you're on the fence, try a $5 ad and see how many hits you get from us. Our sale prices won't last long. Thank you all and God bless!
-Ryan
01.09.2006 - 00:52hJanuary 9th, 2006 - Exciting TimesThese are exciting times! Second service at church yesterday was so full we had people standing in the back! Construction is moving along quickly now and I finally have some pictures for you to see.
But first, let me announce that for a limited time only, pixels are on sale for just 5¢ each! That's just $5 for a 10x10 block. We need to make some sales to help pay off some of the money we've invested in the site so that we can move forward with more advertising campaigns and start getting some donations into the church. So we figured a pixel sale would do the trick! Buy now because this price won't last long!
On to the pics:

This is the front of the church as you're driving in. The new parking lot is on the left of the building.

Around the back of the church, is the former main entrance. You can see the foundation is laid out for the new foyer which will connect the church and the new gymnasium.

This is a picture of the foundation for the gym. The house in the background is the parsonage and the church is off to the left.

A great shot of the new foyer foundation. The gym is going in to the right of that.

From the back corner of what will be the new gym.

A shot of the new parking lot from the other side of the building. The center of the picture shows where the foyer will be with the gym off to the left.
So as you can see, any funds we raise are going toward quite a project. We're having a church body meeting Wednesday night to discuss the project as far as time estimates and finances are concerned. I'll post an update later in the week to let you know how that went.
Remember, we're not just asking for a donation, we're providing a legitimate service for your purchase. We'll be driving traffic to your site for years to come, long after this building project is complete.
God bless!
-Ryan
01.06.2006 - 08:37hJanuary 6th, 2006Happy New Year everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates. I have taken pictures of the latest site work; I just haven't had a chance to upload them off my camera yet. I'm going to do my best to get that done this weekend.
I just wanted to let you all know that the number of visitors to the site have remained steady since we posted our ad on the MillionDollarHomePage. As you can see we have many new advertisers in our free trial section and they're all getting quite a few hits. We put out our first press release which outlined what we're trying to do here as far as increasing traffic for our customers and raising money for our church so that should also be increasing traffic and visibility.
God Bless!
-Ryan
12.31.2005 - 18:04hDecember 31st, 2005 - Leap of Faith!Well I just completed updating the site to the latest version of the Million Pixel Script which was quite a project. There were so many changes that I had to pull down the old site completely and start over which is the reason it appears all the blog entries were made today. I had to port them over from the old site. Fortunately I was able to save the old links and hit data but we lost our referral data. It was worth it though because the new script has many new great features.
As for the leap of faith? We did it! We purchased an ad on the MillionDollarHomePage today on the last day any pixels will ever be available. The result? See for yourself:

It's not the 800 pixel ad we had originally planned on but I think it stands out nicely atop the giant purple Pixellance ad. We've all ready received about 100 hits from it and it was only posted a few hours ago. We paid $400 out of our own pocket for this ad so we're really hoping it'll pay off with some donations toward our church addition. The other nice thing about coming in so late in the game on the MillionDollarHomePage, is we're right on top of the 400 pixel ad links on the Pixel List as seen here:

There won't be any other links above us than what's seen here from now until Alex takes down his site many years from now.
I'm bringing my camera to service tomorrow to take some pictures of the building addition project so if you're interested check back tomorrow night to check it out.
Now that the MillionDollarHomePage is sold out, where are you going to post your pixel ads? Remember we have a built in link from there to here and posting a link here puts a percentage of your funds to a good cause. Also feel secure that your ad will never be devalued by being posted next to something inappropriate.
God Bless and Happy New Year!
-Ryan
12.31.2005 - 17:59hDecember 30th, 2005Slow and steady! With pixel ads being all over the news right now we're gaining traffic slowly but steadily. We've placed a few ads on some fellow pixel ad sites and hopefully we'll still have a chance to get an ad on the million dollar home page. Sorry for the lack of updates as of late but we've been awfully busy with Christmas. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas by the way!
At the church, the foundation has been poured and the new parking lot looks great. They got some lights up around the lot last week. Christmas Eve service was packed! We're going to take a few pictures of the work in progress and post them here so you all can follow the progress of the new addition.
It looks like the new version of the pixel script we use is complete which includes a blog feature, so we'll be updating to that soon which should mean more blog entries. It'll be easier than editing this file and uploading it every time. Until next time... God bless!
-Ryan
12.31.2005 - 17:13hDecember 11th, 2005We're up in the North Eastern U.S. and we just got hammered by that snow storm. The guys at the church were covering the piles of crushed stone with tarps and then removing the snow periodically throughout the storm because if those piles get covered in snow, and any of it melts into the piles, we're done until spring. It was quite a project.
On a lighter note, our advertising campaigns are gaining momentum and we lowered the price of our pixels to 50¢! We haven't decided if we're going to keep the price that low for the lifetime of the site or not, so purchasing some pixels as soon as possible would be a great idea. Remember, every time you purchase pixels, you'll be contributing to this massive building expansion project at our church!
-Ryan
12.31.2005 - 17:27hDecember 7th, 2005Quick update on what we've been up to. Our Google™ AdWords campaigns have collected over 26,000 impressions all ready and we just opened an account with eVisions Marketing Inc. that will be launching within the next couple of days. We also opened up an advertising account with Miva. I'm going to be working on some revamping of the look and feel of the site this weekend and shortly after that our first press release will be going out. Between all these things coming together at the same time, we're expecting some major traffic. If you want to get in on the early clicks, now's the time to buy some pixels.
Update on our Church's expansion project: They just finished the new parking lot. They paved it this week and it looks great. It's a good thing too because parking was really becoming an issue since they had to dig up half of the old lot for the expansion. So we should have plenty of parking space for Christmas services.
We're looking forward to the coming weeks. The idea for this site came from the Lord and things just seem to be working themselves out. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for us and this project. This site is His.
-Ryan
12.31.2005 - 17:58hDecember 3rd, 2005We're just finishing up a few updates on the site now. We've all ready launched an advertising campaign with Google™ and we've posted our ads on several pixel sites. Our big 800 pixel ad will be going up on milliondollarhomepage.com soon!
-Ryan
